The choker on his neck is indeed odd.The muted colors are good. but the lack of paint details betray it's 94 pedigree.Joerizzo2025https://www.blogger.com/profile/08178783120454637064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-67020278304338623952018-12-28T22:14:28.027-07:002018-12-28T22:14:28.027-07:00I'm still disappointed that Hasbro didn't ...I'm still disappointed that Hasbro didn't repaint Battle Corps Duke green.Battle Armor Dadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11935127773670585716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-50927714569270921362018-12-28T22:11:15.843-07:002018-12-28T22:11:15.843-07:00The lack of paint apps really hurts this figure fo...The lack of paint apps really hurts this figure for me. The Desert Patrol set has the Tundra Ranger head (ironic?).

My amusing story about 1994 Stalker is that my older brother got the figure before I did (he was on the east coast, and they got stuff sooner than the midwest). He wasn't a collector at the time, but he was a big Stalker fan, so he got that figure. He described Stalker's boots and thigh pad as appearing to be made from pool toy/flotation devices. Reminds of how some of the figure details at the time were random and odd.A-Mannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-2274780281332389882018-12-27T16:47:09.146-07:002018-12-27T16:47:09.146-07:00The more I think about that era, the more I think ...The more I think about that era, the more I think that Hasbro really was inept and we were too overjoyed at anything to really see it. The club guys also really did a number on collectors and stopped some great figures from getting made. And, the brand managers openly hated vintage Joes, so we really never had a chance. Thanks, man. Now, I'm pissed off all over again. ;)Robot_Sonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14046347432548886565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-66769717822421164762018-12-27T15:01:38.346-07:002018-12-27T15:01:38.346-07:00im sure glad we got to see this mold repurposed as...im sure glad we got to see this mold repurposed as a pudgy white guy in the 2000’s while the head got put on that awful duke torso PAINT-WIPEShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07882474234690207223noreply@blogger.com
