The hair is also awful and looks like a wet towel. I think Hasbro hates GI Joe and only lets their absolute worst sculptors work on the brand. At the time I thought it was pretty cool looking, but I didn't have the $20 for it, so I passed on it. Still thought about trying to get it for a while after that, but I was dissuaded by the lack of guns. Releasing figures with no guns or weapons was a really dumb move on Hasbro's part.

I'd still consider getting this figure, but I can't stand the head. The worst thing about a lot of the comic-pack figures was the new heads they made, and this toy is a perfect example of one that was hurt by it.Nekomanhttp://viperpit.xyz/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-19215396273729762412021-02-16T10:31:17.430-07:002021-02-16T10:31:17.430-07:00I definitely remember the Processions sets floodin...I definitely remember the Processions sets flooding shelves. Most of the characters included were really overdone at that time and it just wasn't very desirable and she was the only one with a firearm. Interesting idea but poorly executed.Barbecue17https://www.blogger.com/profile/11169946891265569135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-77264934492197734402021-02-16T10:25:16.066-07:002021-02-16T10:25:16.066-07:00The left knee joint is really tight. So, it must be the Baroness mold.

I miss the Chinese overstock, too. I remember $12 desert Flak Vipers. Those will run you $30+ these days. I wish I'd bought more of the army builders just to have around as we'll never see cheap Joes like that again.Robot_Sonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14046347432548886565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1730351558727980814.post-60096217337412282302021-02-16T10:15:29.025-07:002021-02-16T10:15:29.025-07:00Are the knee joints super tight on yours? The exam...Are the knee joints super tight on yours? The examples I have all have tight knees, I'm afraid to move some of them. Same with most of the comic pack Baronesses I have.

The glasses look bad, but on the other since they can be removed, there's more versatility to the head sculpt. A 1984 Baroness will always look like Baroness if you repaint her hair or skin.

I don't dislike this release, but I do wish the red was more compatible with other figures. That might be a factor as to the set's unpopularity. Also, Elite Trooper overload. The last 3 Valor Vs Venom retail Cobra 6-pack army builders were all cobra elite: Crimson Guard, Imperial Procession and Shadow Guard. And they were previously issued molds. It was boring and even lazy, especially knowing what molds Hasbro till had (Frag Viper, Snow Serpent V1 and V2, Ferret, WORMS, Aero-Viper, Night Viper, Crimson Guard Immortal, Battle Corps Viper, TARGAT, Headhunter, Headhunter Stormtrooper, Vapor...) And then even DTC gave us two more o-ring packs...that were retreads, one good and one a real shame.

What was with the black stripes on the legs?

I got a couple of these with no glasses, random accessories for a couple of bucks, free shipping, from China years ago. I miss the Chinese overstock/rejects. There's not much out there anymore. (Beside an endless supply of nusculpt Wild Bill in black) Where did they all go? I suspect dealers got a lot of it, but I dunno. A-Mannoreply@blogger.com
