I'm not a huge Quick Kick fan. I've never really liked the figure. Nor, have I found him all that useful. But, lots of people do like him. And, in the right setting, he does look good in photos. So, check out all the content below to see some great Quick Kick photos.

Quick Kick was one of those characters that I was a huge fan of as a kid from the cartoon. I never acquired a Quick Kick until 2 years ago and when I first got the figure out the nostalgia and excitement hit but now it's more a question of how could I utilize him. His design is very limiting in terms of practical use. I think Hasbro missed an opportunity releasing a new version in the 90s. It's a fun action figure though and comes with some cool accessories.
ReplyDeleteOn his own, Quick Kick isn't a bad figure (and he's got a cool/useful specialty). For me, though, the issue has always been that he just doesn't fit in anywhere in the line (visually). That first picture by General Liederkranz highlights this perfectly - even among a bunch of (albeit, later run) martial arts figures, Quick Kick just seems out of place. If the same figure had been released in a different toyline, I think he'd be more fondly remembered (which is not to say he doesn't still have his fans...he definitely does).
