2017 Tiger Force Starduster (Black Major) - Around The Web

The Black Major Starduster figures were well done.  They offered collectors a chance to both own a cheap version of the original Starduster, but also in a variety of different colors, many of them homages to classic Joe subteams.  My favorite of this bunch is the Tiger Force Starduster figure.  To me, this looks like the type of thing that Hasbro might have done back in the '80's.  Plus, his helmet is a perfect match for the Red Laser Army The General figure.  Here's the best of this figure from around the web.

    By allowing people a lower cost alternative to vintage Star Dusters, blech major dude ruined collecting foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! DETH OF THE COLLECTABLE!

      Not really, a lot of people don’t want bootlegs or cheap copycats. Collecting vintage means you get the real thing, that matters a lot to many people. What I do have a problem is some people use figures like viper pilots or normal star dusters to try and dupe newbies to get vintage prices.

      So if they were exact reproductions and not cheap copycats, they'd be fine then. If someone found a warehouse tomorrow with 100,000 mint Stardusters in it, would that be okay? And then years later it turns out they was lying, the are the repro's but no one can tell the difference. HOBBY RUINED>

    Only putting this here, because I notice at the time I post this, sometimes, when I click on any links to JoeDios.com, it states that the Server Is Busy sometimes and to try again later, which I tend to do. As well, when I clicked on the link for Dreadnok Dread's posting on Tiger Force Starduster just a good few mintues ago at the time of this posting, it managed to actually load most of the posting, as you get the people's comment's(Including Mike T's/Robot Sonic's) at the time in 2020, but sadly, the picture didn't want to load.

    So I used Wayback Internet Machine to see if they had a capture of this posting from JoeDios.com, and while I most of the time have no luck in the past, for this Dreadnok Dread's posting, they did have a capture, including a photo. So I wanted to make sure I post the link for Archive purposes for this site, and for anyone who happens to look at this Blog Entry from today onwards.

    Even more so if the person is similar like me, who only discovered this site recently(For me, it's been almost 2 years ago at the time of this posting, around the Fall of 2024), as I have been looking at most of the postings in chronological order(Along with looking or at least skimming the more recent postings from time to time, as I will look at those again when I reach to them).

    I do like this Back Major Tiger Force Starduster, as it gives him a look of if he's with Tiger Force. I'm sure Black Major or any of the other 3rd Party/Bootleg O-ring G.I. Joe Mold Figures must of done a Sky Patrol version as well, even if he doesn't come with a Parachute(Unless it did so that fans could use the Parachute if Starduster is in a jet). I mean, it would only make sense for him to be in Sky Patrol if there was a unit he would be a part of. Though I'd probably say Night Force would be cool, and a Desert Patrol version could be neat as well.

    If anyone did a Ninja Force Starduster, I would have to laugh so hard, but if it look awesome at the same time, I would be amazed as well. Though why Starduster is part of Ninja Force would be another question, as I'm sure people would just use it as a different character than Starduster himself.

      It saddens me to see just how many Joe websites have gone dark in the past 10 years. At this point, the Around the Webs serve as more of an archive of what the community used to be than they do links to good content. Even once prolific guys on Instagram have either gone MIA or even deleted their accounts.

      It's funny that 2026 online Joe content is very similar to 2001 online Joe content. It's your website, Evilface, and maybe 4 other sites. The rest is just broken links or websites that haven't been updated in years
