1987 Dodger - Around The Web
I'm still not a huge fan of Battle Force 2000. Dodger remains one of the highlights of the set and is a figure that can find uses outside of his subset. These days, he's about the only BF2000 member who sees any time in my collection. Here's the best of him from around the web.

Having only two of the vintage BF2000 vehicles back in the day, but all the figures...I gotta say the BF 2000 figures were more fun sans vehicles. Dodger is too cool to waste on the goofy Marauder.
ReplyDeleteThey should've done more two packs. But then Hasbro mindset at the time was that GI JOE was a vehicle line that was where the big profits were. I think they overdid it from 1987 to 1990 it was impossible to COLLECT 'EM ALL. Heck, 1985 had a lot of stuff. But that glut of repaints, exclusive repaints, the special teams that shipped for one year...too much.
Dodger has a strong Colonial Marines vibe (from Aliens). His gun is goofy but his sculpt and colors are great.
