The distinct visuals of the Aero Viper within Cobra was as strong draw. But, it wasn't enough to keep the figure at the center of my collection. Today, I still appreciate this figure for the cool design and oddball facial hair. But, he doesn't hold a position of great importance any longer. Here's the best of him from around the web.

Another guy who wears his briefs over his pants. Kinda. they painted the padding on his butt green to sort of match the rest of him.
ReplyDeleteThe thug mask...lol. It's like the Aero-Vipers decided to do the opposite of the other Cobras and cover the top part of their heads. Maybe they are part of underground wrestling on the weekends.
One of the few 1989-1990 vehicle drives to appear in a Dic cartoon (i think the only others were Long Range and Vapor).
This figure was almost too cool just to be a pilot IMO. A shame they never reused this sculpt either.
